This is the first cat picture I’ve used as a Photo-a-Day this month. That’s pretty unbelievable! And I’m not sure how I feel about it.
It seems I decided to move the photo series over to this blog after all! If you find my posts through our Facebook page this should make very little difference to you. Otherwise, well… the address is practically the same, right? Can’t be that hard to find us 😉
Lola likes to look out windows. She likes to watch the world go by, to see the birds and the trees, the people and the cars, and even the occasional squirrel or hare. She likes to sit window-watching with the sun in her face making her white fur positively glow.
Elvis has now been on his diet for a little over seven months. He certainly looks much leaner and has more energy, although he still does his best to gobble up Lola’s food should the opportunity present itself.
England is England-y! I didn’t get around to working on the other blog post, so S kindly sent me this picture of Elvis for your viewing pleasure.
In Finland Valentine’s Day is Ystävänpäivä, which translates to Friend’s Day. Whilst the day is, admittedly, becoming increasingly commercialised I think it is nice to have a day dedicated, not to romantic love and relationships, but to remembering and appreciating friends.
I have had a very long and very exhausting day, so I’m not writing much today. Instead Lola and Elvis agreed to demonstrate usage of their fort.
Elvis, bless his heart, often gets overshadowed by Lola. She’s an attention seeker. If she’s awake chances are she’s getting into things she shouldn’t, yelling at us, or running around like a loon. And even when she’s asleep she has to get attention, by spreading herself across my keyboard or twisting up to cover my screen.…
