Early this afternoon I was snuggling on the bed with Sampson. I had my snuggie on at the time, and when I got up to leave I had to slip out of it so as not to disturb the cat. He’s been sleeping on it pretty much non-stop since then!
As the weather improves we’ve had more opportunity to leave our balcony door open. All three of the cats appreciate being able to go on the balcony, but Lola likes it most of all. She will quite happily go and sit out there for as long as we let her. Whether she’s sunbathing, listening to…
It’s somehow easier to get up in a timely manner on the weekend than it is during the week.

Getting a urine sample from a cat is easier than I expected!
As we were getting ready to go to the shops early this afternoon I turned around and spotted Elvis. His position and the lighting had come together perfectly to create such a funny picture! I pointed it out to husband, who then took a photo of it for me. Doesn’t Elvis look silly?!
Sometimes the cats forget to put their tongues away. It’s funniest when they stop part way through washing themselves and leave their tongues hanging most of the way out. Silly, cute things.
Lola volunteered to be today’s photo again. I was hoping we’d get out today to take some but that didn’t happen. Never mind.
Dearest Elvis, that is not a cat place. You have been told so many times, and ought to know better by now.
