Today is a special day. It’s Elvis’s 12th birthday. It’s also Sampson’s 8th birthday, and the 2 year anniversary of us moving him to live with us. Doesn’t time fly?!
It’s getting beautifully springlike here in Finland. Or at least in our part of it. The last few days have been lovely. Warm and sunny. Flowers are starting to grow. The grass is turning greener. And buds are appearing here, there and everywhere.

What a difference a day makes.
Today I discovered that, at the back of one of the play parks we frequent, there is what appears to be some kind of sacrificial altar. I am not sure why we need a sacrificial altar, but we have one nonetheless.
