I had a bit of trouble getting this picture. My camera kept thinking everything was too dark and trying to lighten it up, washing out the rainbow in the process. But the rainbow was the whole point!
When I left for work this morning there was very little snow about. The pavements and roads were back to the usual grey-black. It wasn’t too slippery, though there were visible patches of ice here and there.
As annoyed as litter makes me, I couldn’t help but take a photo of this bottle. The bright sunshine on it really made it stand out like a jewel, especially against that frosty grey and brown ground. I thought it was pretty.

Most of the bigger parks here have toy supplies. Sheds with trikes, chests full of buckets and spades, balls and cars, that sort of thing. The parks are also staffed, and the staff will open the chests for the busier times of day, or by request.
This picture is a perfect example of why I always carry my camera with me. We were walking back from the park a couple of days ago when a tree just beside us rustled. I stopped, and so did this little guy.
