It’s November, which means it’s the time of year when I challenge myself to a bunch of things! This year my goals are as follows:
– Complete NaNoWriMo
That means writing every day and finishing the month with at least 60k words written.
– Complete NaBloPoMo
Blog daily. Specifically on this blog. Blogging on my other blog doesn’t count to this.
– Daily video
Doesn’t have to be anything long, but share something each day on my YouTube channel.
– Daily workout.
As I currently don’t have a full time job to go to my life has become quite sedentary. The idea with this goal is to try to take a daily walk, and also do some kind of work out at home, too. Starting with the walking, and building up as the month progresses.
– Daily reading.
I will spend at least 10 minutes (have to have time for everything else!) reading a book or eBook.
– Daily colouring.
I will spend at least 10 minutes colouring. This can be colouring for a card.
– Daily meditation.
I will spend at least 10 minutes meditating.
– Improve sleep schedule.
Another build-up-to-it one. By the end of the month I want to have shifted my schedule such that I go to bed by 10, and get up at 6. And actually get up, not lay in bed on my phone for an hour after waking.
– Minimise spending.
Keep expenses as low as possible. So no frivolous spending. I’ll be monitoring this in YNAB and aiming for it to be hopefully the lowest spend month of the year.
– Get organised.
Each day I will work on something, big or small, to get our home cleaner, tidier and more organised.
– Earn money.
As mentioned above I’m not currently in full-time employment. For this task, each day I will do something that either earns me money directly (e.g. working) or has the potential to lead to earning money (e.g. applying for a job, listing something for sale.)
