I could do with a more days in a week.
We’re flying to Denmark on Thursday. Between now and then I need to finish several cards, write their accompanying blog posts, work on two videos and their blog posts, and do all the related social media promoting. I need to make a bunch of save the dates and get them sent out no later than Tuesday. And I need to package up and send out a prize from the giveaway I had recently. I also need to work out what we need to take with us and sort the packing. Plus the flat is a mess (when isn’t it?) and needs to be at least somewhat tidied up before we leave. Oh and I need to practice my hair and make-up for the wedding because I don’t usually fancify (totally a word) myself for things so I need to work out what the heck I’m doing.
That’d all be fine, if I didn’t have a full-time job to work. Which includes a 10 hour day on Tuesday…
More days in the week would definitely be good. And more hours in the day. Because somehow it’s nearly 23:00 already…
I’ll have more time from the summer, at least. My meeting on Friday about my job concluded that my contract is going to be continued, almost certainly. And I will be dropping down to 80% time – effectively 4 days a week instead of 5, though it may sometimes work out as 5 shorter days rather than 4 normal length days. That should give me more time for working on my crafting business/hobby. (It’s not really a business yet, given I’m not making any money whatsoever off of it.)
That doesn’t really help me now though.
