I’ve taken a picture of this view before. This version has a bit more colour to it. Less mist. Less snow, but more ice – in this picture the water either side of the rock wall is frozen, whereas it was still liquid in the earlier version.
The main reason I took the picture this time is that cloud bank in the background. It looks like a huge wall. It was really odd how perfectly straight it was, stretching all the way across to the left and the right, as far as I could see. Either a giant wall or a horrifically huge tidal wave.
Of course it wasn’t either of those things. Just clouds. Very solid-looking clouds.
