Five degrees isn’t so bad…
The thing is though, that here in Finland people stop saying the minus when the temperature is consistently below freezing. So when they say it’s five they actually mean minus five.
On top of that there’s usually a difference between the temperature the thermometer shows and the temperature it actually feels once you’ve accounted for wind etc. Today for example it may be five degrees but the “real feel” is thirteen.
And yes, I’m talking minus.
It’s chilly. If you think that’s too cold I’d recommend that you don’t come to visit in a couple of months time when it’ll no doubt get down to the twenties or thirties…
