Stretch!

Lola’s favourite form of exercise is running around like a mad thing and yelling at the top of her voice. Sometimes she’ll change it up a bit by stopping to scratch at doors, or the sofa, or the bed… And other times she decides to take it easy and just stretch.

She’s A Lady

Most of the time when Lola decides to have a nap she does so in the most unladylike manner possible. She will sleep all twisted around, legs akimbo, neck contorted at an odd angle… I can’t help but wonder how on earth it could be comfortable. Apparently it is! Sometimes though she will curl up in…

Can You Say ‘Fabulous’?

We fostered kittens for a few months a little over a year ago. It was a wonderful experience and something I would definitely like to do again sometime. I’ll admit that the hardest part was saying goodbye to the little monsters, but it was definitely a worthwhile experience.

Cramped Cuddles

Lola and Elvis aren’t the only cats in our lives. There are the four English cats that I consider mine (at least partially!) – Woody and Sampson, who live with my older brother; Sacher who recently moved to live with my dad; and Belle, who currently lives with my mum. There are also two more…

He’d far rather eat Lola’s tasty wet food than his boring, low-calorie dry stuff. His preference is made readily apparent…

How May I Annoy You?

When I have a busy day, like today, it’s lovely to come home to a peaceful flat. Unfortunately that doesn’t happen very often because Lola is apparently allergic to peacefulness, and feels that her one true purpose in life is to fill any silence with her yelling. Thanks Lola.

You Can Come Out Now

Yesterday whilst in the living room on our computers we heard a strange tapping noise coming from the bedroom. I went to investigate, and discovered that Lola was in the small cat tree and Elvis, who was sitting on top, was reaching over and trying to hit her through the entrance of the box. I…
